As a native Balinese, born and raised on the Island of Gods, my name carries a deep historical connection. In Balinese naming tradition, "Gede" is the equivalent of Putu or Wayan (designating the firstborn child). My family chose this name because our ancestral line, particularly from the Pasek clan, has used 'Gede' since the beginninga heritage I carry with immense pride.
